New Zealand Cricket is gearing up for a huge season of Kiwi’s favourite summer sport. Six international tours are confirmed for the 2024-25 summer of cricket. Four of those countries will be rolling into Wellington. England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Australia will all be aiming for the boundaries at Cello Basin Reserve and Sky Stadium. The dedicated cricket venues will host the games for New Zealand’s BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS.
The action begins with the second test between BLACKCAPS and England. The five-day Test will run from 6 to 10 December. The WHITE FERNS then pick up the willow to face Australia in a series of one-day internationals. Known as the Rose Bowl ODI Series, they will happen on 19, 21, and 23 December. The BLACKCAPS then return to Wellington on 5 January to play Sri Lanka in the first ODI. One last epic day of play will occur on 26 March. A doubleheader pits the WHITE FERNS against Australia in the afternoon, and the BLACKCAPS against Pakistan in the evening.
After a successful 2023-24 summer season, now’s your chance to be part of the action.
