Melanie Bracewell — A Little Treat

As 30 fast approaches, comedian Melanie Bracewell is thinking about the last decade of adulthood. In her new touring show at The Opera House in Wellington, she unpacks her 20s and discusses important motivations. She asks herself, “Am I having a bad day? Time for a little treat. Am I having a good day? I think that deserves a little treat.” 

Stand-up comedy, radio announcing, radio producer, script writing — Melanie Bracewell has found success in multiple disciplines. Her TV appearances include ‘The Cheap Seats,’ ‘Taskmaster NZ’, ‘Have You Been Paying Attention‘, and ‘Thank God You’re Here’. She has won multiple awards, including the Billy T Award for the country’s best-emerging comedian in 2018. The same year she won Breakthrough Comedian of the Year at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards.
