About the trail

Kererū Track starts at Williams Park in Days Bay. It weaves through mature beech and rātā forest. You may be lucky enough to come across and other native birdlife along the way. You may also see indigenous orchids in full bloom.

At the top, the trail intersects with Main Ridge Track and has spectacular views across Wellington Harbour. From here, you can return along the same route, or explore some of the many connecting trails.
