Hip-hop dance takes the throne for a right royal time.

A different type of royal family is visiting The Opera House in May. Instead of Buckingham Palace, it’s The Palace Dance Studio. The Auckland-based hip-hop dance studio is back and its specialist group The Royal Family Dance Crew has created a new show. ‘Honour The Crown’ tours the country in May.

The calibre of the dance performance is set to wow Wellington audiences. The Royal Family Dance Crew has racked up over 10 billion views on social media. They’ve had epic performances at American Idol, the Grammys, and the Super Bowl Halftime Show. This has led to collaborations with stars like Rihanna, JLo, and Justin Bieber. The Palace Dance Studio caters for all ages and levels of hip-hop dance in a supportive family-friendly environment. Leading choreographers help people follow their dreams from dancing for fun to dancing around the world.
