The four members of the UK rock band, Herman’s Hermits, pose between two drum cymbals in front of a Union Jack with a paint splatter effect in the background.

English rock and pop group Herman’s Hermits formed in 1963. Still going strong 62 years later, the band heads to Wellington’s St James Theatre in 2025. Known for jaunty songs and often tongue-in-cheek vocal style, Herman’s Hermits had many transatlantic hits. With catchy tunes like Mrs Brown, You Got a Lovely Daughter, Henry the VIII, No Milk Today, and There’s a Kind of Hush, you’ll have plenty to tap along to.

Herman’s Hermits was one of the ‘British Invasion’ bands that followed the success of The Beatles in the 1960s and 70s. They hit the American pop charts 22 times with songs that became rock’n’roll anthems all over the world. The Wellington Show promises to be as energetic and lively as they were six decades ago.
