‘Final Fantasy’ is a role-playing video game first released in 1987. The music composed to conjure up its mythical worlds is being recreated at The Opera House in March. Live piano performances and large video projections will bring you up close and personal to the emotional power of the music. There are specially composed piano arrangements of iconic themes from the original ‘Final Fantasy’ to ‘Final Fantasy XVI’ (released in 2023). Rediscover old-time classics like the majestic ‘Liberi Fatali’ and ‘Zarnakand’. Also, hear tunes newly created for the tour like ‘Bygone Serenity’ and ‘Flow’.
You don’t have to be a long-time fan to enjoy this beautiful music. Some of the finest video game composers have contributed including Nobuo Uematsu, Masayoshi Soken, and Yoko Shimomura. Dip into the rich ‘Final Fantasy’ universe from a unique musical angle.
