Te Whaea National Dance & Drama Centre

The unique spaces at Te Whaea offer great rehearsal and performance spaces for theatre, dance or music groups. It also offers creative appeal for corporate guests.

Te Whaea is New Zealand’s national dance and drama centre, and home to the New Zealand Drama School and School of Dance.

There are 18 flexible meeting and conference spaces for business and community groups. These range from several drama and dance studios with sprung floors. To meeting rooms, event spaces, performance spaces, and theatres.

The team at Te Whaea can also help manage your events with the box office and ticketing services.

The centre is located in Newtown and is close to the city and public transport.
